mini coke bottle gun

dis is my second mini gun i made juss today. its one of those really small coke bottles. its next to my old pill bottle. the pill bottle was to weak and boring so i upgraded. i cant get it to combust. it only lights once in like 20 tries but when it does its kina scary cuss i dont kno wens its ganna light and its pretty loud cumin outa that small hole. can sumone help me wif y its not lighting i tried holding a lighter in different seconds and its all random never the same amount of seconds.

Nice guns! About the combustion not lighting is it at like the top or the middle normally on my minis i put them on the bottom and they usually work...But idk that might not effect it to much, but i was playing with one the other day and it took bout 15 tries to ignite it and it was at the top (i didnt have a barrel on it i was just playing with the spark before i put it on ).

i put the two wired in the middle. same thing with the small one and the small one fires everytime. i tried messuring how many times bigger the coke bottle was than the the pill bottle by puting water in the small one and puoring it in the coke bottle. it took 3 and half pours. for the small one i found dat 3 seconds of holding the lighter that i moded so it can push out more gas. so i times that by 3 1/2 and i held the ligher for 9 1/2 seconds and still doesnt work all the time only like once in 20 tries. man i really like dis gun becuss when it does fire the recoil is pretty strong.

i moved the mires back a lil and it works!! but it doesnt seem like theres a difference how hard it shoot than the small one. the exploition is much biger and louder and its airtight too but doesnt shoot much faster. y is that? and i shot it one time and the weirdest shit happened. after i fired it the bottle like concaved inward and made dis fart noise. ok so now im ganna make another more neater perminant one.

nice litl' cannon although you may mwant to look into getting a longer 1/4 inch steel pipe barrel. but other than that nice.

thnx. man im still not satisfied with the power. next time im ganna get one of those big water jugs for the waterdispencer thing they use in offices. hahaha thatl b more like a bomb

It's because the barrel is too small for the chamber that it doesn't harness all of it's energy.

If your going to go with a water cooler jug I would just go with PVC or ABS pipe. MythBusters have proven that water cooler jugs can't even hold 60psi before they explode.

Oh, yeah, I saw that episode but I was just kidding. I'd be too scared to even try that.
I'm going to try and get a brake line or something...

Does anyone if it is possible to make a mini strong enough so a plastic bb can go through a cardboard box? If so, how?

And does anyone know what is more powerful - the same size chamber used as a combustion or filled with a little hand bike pump up to whatever pressure those pumps can produce?

i have an mini combustion also, and it barly ever light i gotta air it out most of the time, i think i need a bigger barrle

the tubes on the BIC pens fit airsoft bbs perfectly.I made a mini once that shot airsoft bbs through a coco puffs box if you call that cardboard.

went back to the small one cuss i didnt like the coke bottle and taped on another tube wich made it 5 times more powerful and could go through a coke can with a airsoft bb. wen i get a brake line im ganna conect it to the coke bottle.

i put on sum picture hangin things for the sight wich works suprisingly good. can hit a coke can from 20 feet away
