I use it so I can do dry fires without using any ammo. Just for show.spudkpi wrote:Look at the wiki and search for combustions and it ahs like al the upgrades that are possible and gives you enough information to put them together... and frankrede jw but why would you put a burst disk on a regular combustion? I thought you just put those on hybrids so that they would hold pressure...?

It is a plastic covering over the back of a latern lighter you can make that "stops your spray from hitting the flint. It doesnt surround it but it covers the back half of the latern lighter.Jarim wrote:ok i have a barrel knife and use burst disks...by the way what is a flint shroud and dont you need electronic ignition to have a spark strip...? just wondering?

Hmm,You want a good seal with a moderate amount of friction to keep the seal. You want your ammo to "glide" in your barrel. Not have to hammer it down.WOW!! wrote:Dont put anything in your barrel. You want a good seal and the more friction you have(not to much tho)The more powerfull shot you have.
I used aluminum foil wrapped around an O- ring.Jarim wrote:ooooo good idea.. thanks where would you get those or do you have to make it... and if so how?frankrede wrote:It is a plastic covering over the back of a latern lighter you can make that "stops your spray from hitting the flint.
