Hey, have any of you guys ever tried using HFC green gas for airsoft guns? It seems to have more power that butane. (the lighter refill cans)
I did a test with an airsoft easy feed bottle, and the green gas burned instantly, and made a louder pop. The butane popped, but then it proceded to burn for a few seconds, setting the plastic container on fire. (Not good) Anyway, a HUGE can is only 10.00 (3300mL) Its like twice or more the volume of a normal aerosol can, and like 3 or more times larger than your average butane can.

Assuming the tank-to-be-filled doesn't have a checkvalve, sure, it SHOULD be... Note that to get meaningfull amounts of propane into the empty tank, you'll have to either keep the propane tank warmer than the other one or have it upside down.

(you called it HFC gas. That typicaly stands for hydro florocarbon, so I'm suspicious...)

nonono, HFC is the company that markets the gas. HFC is an airsoft company/manufacturer. I would be filling my airsoft green gas gun with the propane tank. The normal green gas canister has a nozzle similar to a butane refill bottle. You filll up the chamber in the airsoft gun like you would to refill a lighter. I was hoping that an adapter existed that would allow me to fill my airsoft gun like that with a normal propane canister for campstoves. I would love to make an adaper if its possible, any ideas?
