UPDATED x 2 !! WMD - Now with 360 view and damage pics!!
wrap a golf ball in toilet paper and test the range
seems fine to me, have you considered using burst disks? they improved the performance of mine when it was still alive.

Depends on which way it's fluted. One way can give objects backspin (which improves range), the other gives it frontspin, which will cause it to arc back down faster.Hailfire753 wrote:Do you think the fluted barrel negatively affects preformance?
I think you've managed to have it cut the wrong way. Won't reduce power, but it will reduce ranges on some ammunitions.
Novacastrian: How about use whatever the heck you can get your hands on?
frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

Happy 4th of july!!!
PYRO TYME!!
I finished painting my gun, I will post pics soon, and maybe a flash video.
I will probably update the main post with them, so lazy people can see 'em with out reading the posts. Stay tuned!!
I use potatoes as my primary ammo; golf balls are too big. As for the angeled cut of the barrel, that was just for looks, and I could probably remove it. The whole 5'' fluted part was added to the original plans too.
About the burst disks, I have already said I use 'em. REALLY LOUD. Stupid lazy post-skipping chaos! HMMP! ; (

Great job on the 360! At first I thought it was an animated GIF, but flash is nice because you can pause it.
I must admit I love the nuke symbol on the chamber

Hazardous material symbols are all so cool looking... I especially love the nuclear symbol because I'm going to major in Nuclear Engineering when I start college this fall.
lol, i was doing a report on careers and in some of my research, a book said that a nuclear engineer makes less than a teacher
even tho i dont believe i thing ill stick to aerospace engineering
anyway i really like the 360, tis cool, never seen it on a cannon before

It really depends what you do, it's one of those degrees that's useless unless you have a masters or PhD. I'm actually planning on doing a double major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, but I've got to wait until just after sophomore year to do that.
Edit: Check out my new sig, hecka cool huh.
Ok I'm done hijacking this thread.

Sorry to kick this thread up again (and double posting), but I thought it would be worth it for you guys to see the damage videos.
