4 inch chamber - 20 inches long
3 inch barrel - 5 foot long
"phat" propane meter - 1.5 " caps
pc fan
3 wheeler tires
welded carriage

I have found a fuel mix that is very powerful. a couple squirts of starting fluid and a few squirts of hairspray really makes for a powerful bang.

UPDATE #2: i added the electric bbq ignitor and a spark strip with double sparks using small bolts. this and the fan really improves the power. added a battle shield and camo paint.

UPDATE: propane sucks with this canon for some reason, i found out that solarcaine first aid spray works best , then disinfectant spray works real good so i dont use propane anymore on this gun. it shot a baseball 660 feet with solarcaine. in the vid u will see a baseball go through 1/4" plywood then travel another 159 feet at its lowest elevation setting.

Also the C:B ratio is less than 1 to 1 so to get the pressure up in the chamber and to simulate a 2" barrel i added a plywood baffle inside the chamber up against the barrel, the baffle has a 2" hole and this greatly improved the power.

That is shit hot.

Is there really that much recoil?

Or is it just for style?
The style is damn good.

Loving those tyres.

Wow that is very cool. Good job I am that kid you talked to on the chat lol and you told me about this and it is awesome. I like the desighn of how its held in place like a howitzer. And as asked before what is the range. And that bbq ignitor should be replaced with a stun gun I think and I have never built a combustion except for a mini but i have heard that putting the sparker in the end cap is not a good idea because it has a greater chance of failing. I still like it though besides that.

Now that's what I'm talking about.. I like the fat tires and the attitude of the whole thing...great paint job! The elevation control is awesome...(I think that's what that pulley and handle is anyway)

I think the only thing I would add would be some sparks gaps in the center of the chamber. Overall though, really nice unit. I'm glad you "unveiled" it before the competition gets underway...

Im not sure of the range just yet, was getting dark when i finally got the chance to shoot it but im anxious to see.

I did want to put in a stun gun but didnt have the money, so a spark strip might be added.

as for the ingitor in the end cap i was going to epoxy it until i drilled through it and seen its just as thick walled as the 4" pipe itelf.

compitition? didnt know of one.

Nothing official yet. There's been some talk of firing up one sometime (hours, days, weeks, months, years, who knows) after the "favorite cannon" vote is complete in a couple of days.

Wooow, I love those wheels! Looks really awesome! :D
Though the stand looks somewhat big for the cannon in my opinion.
A larger cannon or maybe another cannon (2, 3 or maybe even 4 cannons next to eachother) is the only thing that can be done better.

The big tires give it a nice look I almost thought it looked metal at first but no just a great paint job I think a stun gun in a project box would make it look good

this could really use a breach loading system.
Funny... I haven't ever seen a breach loading system for anything larger than nerf footballs... You could be the first!
