So I'm 15 and am in the middle of nowhere..
I've done spud guns before out of sch40
abs but am wanting to go bigger better
and think it would be cool to have a somwhat
economical hobby (compared to reef keeping) on the side.
So I'm wanting to do a 6 foot combustion thats ABS,
what are the optimal dimensions for what I am trying to achieve ??
I was thinking 4 wide 2 foot long combustion with 4 foot
barrel of 2 or 1.5 inch. I will use hairspray since my mom
kinda won't let propane fly or anything more "interesting".
I've done electronics and all this other stuff related to spud
guns so I'm not a complete noob :)

So now you must do some searching. All (ok, 95%)of the answers are in this forum some where.....

If you understand combustions then try a pneumatic. they are definitely bigger and better..in my opinion

IF...you have a compressor of course.

Otherwise, tell your mom that an advanced combustion that uses propane is actually safer and cleaner to use than a spray n pray...it will also offer you a challenge since you've already done the basic combustion gun.

Do some homework in the cannon showcases and in the forums. Also, go to Latke's site and read the entire site at least 2 times. This is the definitive how-to on advanced combustion spudguns. You'll be much better prepared then.

Welcome to Spudfiles!
