First Potato Cannon

Hi, I thought I'd show some pictures of a potato cannon I built for my stepson's birthday. This is the first one I've built and in fact, it's the first one I've ever fired. And now I'm hooked!
It's 4" pipe for the chamber that gets reduced to 1 1/2". Then it has another section of 4" over the 1 1/2" to make the "barrel".
A couple of bicycle wheels, some 4x4 wood to clamp around the barrel, a lantern flint for ignition, and some decorative elements that my wife added.
We tried some sweet potatoes at first which worked pretty good. And I like the orange color, real easy to see. We then took it out to my stepson's place and launched some small potatoes through it. It averaged around 200 yards plus on 4 short shots of AquaNet.
Now to build one for myself!
