Potato Eliminator Two Point O

This is the newly built Potato Eliminator. I haven’t tested it yet. The chamber is an 18 inch long piece of 4 inch shc 40 PVC. On one end I glued a 4 inch female adapter and on the other a 4 inch coupling. In the coupling I glued a 4 inch spigot by 2 inch female thread bushing.
The propane meter is quite simple. Starting from the barrel I have a ¼ inch steel street elbow, a ¼ inch steel close nipple, a 1/4inch by1/2 inch steel coupling, a ½ inch sch 80 PVC close nipple, a ½ inch sch 40 PVC ball valve, a 4 inch long ½ inch sch 80 PVC nipple (this will vary based on volume of chamber), a ½ inch sch 40 PVC ball valve, a ½ inch sch 80 PVC close nipple, a ½ inch sch 40 cap with ¼ inch threads tapped into the top of it, a ¼ inch brass tee with a 1-300 PSI pressure gauge in one side and a ¼ inch brass street elbow in the other side, out of the elbow a ¼ inch by ¼ inch brass hose barb, connected to the barb is a length of braided hose used to hook up toilets, the other end if the hose is clamped to an old propane torch. All the sch 80 nipples are sprinkler risers and are available at any store that sells sprinkler supplies. The propane meter is tapped into the chamber at the end with the cleanout plug.
The other accessories include a chamber short, a BBQ igniter (soon to be replaced with a stun gun), and an under-over adapter for the barrel.
The Under-Over adapter makes the gun easier to handle. It allows for a shorter overall length. To build for a cannon with a 2 inch threaded output from the chamber the parts are as follows, a 2 inch female adapter, a 2 inch slip elbow, a 2 inch slip by female threaded elbow, then your barrel. This is a simple easy addition that works great on any cannon.
The chamber short How-To can be found in the How-To section of this wonderful website.
I estimate the entire cannon cost $80 in parts.

EDIT: the cannon now has on board propane an a chamber fan. the fan makes such a differance it was like going from bang to !!!BOOM!!!

nice launcher. 8)

You should make a barrel support. The barrel looks a bit crooked.
