Ive built about 15 of these carbide guns now (mostly smaller pistols) im getting a little better at it. I decided this time to make a rifle. The 1/2" PVC fit perfect in an older airsoft gun i tore apart.
Should i paint all the PVC parts or leave it? I did buy some bright orange tape to put over the muzzle so i dont get shot with it.
The 1/2" pipe is perfect for the smaller nerf darts thats what im planning to shoot out of it and the mini marshmellows.
Should i paint it?

I would paint it tan or olive, it will make a nice contrast with the black parts.

I went with tactical black.
The body and handle are a textured black has a kind of gritty texture to it not really rough but not smooth and shiny.
The barrel i went with a satin try and make it look steelish.
The best part is it shoots as good as it looks, not sure if because of the longer barrel or what but im using the same amount as the pistols but this one has a more clean burn with no suit left behind. I think i have the perfect mix for it. It doesnt have the pop the pistols do though it sounds more like an airgun now. I think the longer 1/2" barrel has silenced the pop some what.
