Wouldn't it be possible to make cartridges using a fill station ( couple of valves and a barbed fitting) to fill a balloon or preferable a section of latex tubing with a pre mixed amount of fuel I e propane and oxy and then have a simple mechanism to insert into the barrel and a firing pin as in a needle moves forward pops the balloon or tubing filled with a pre mix charge and then ignites it in the chamber or the space between the projectile and the back of the barrel any thoughts

Sounds like Rub Goldberg would be proud....

For safety, Please do not premix your fuel and Oxygen. A static discharge or other accident is very dangerous. Especially do not transport mixes in a vehicle. Danger goes way up when confined or larger amounts are stored together.

Please use fuel and air only.

I understand the concerns of the above but I am talking small 1" diameter by maybe 3" vinyl tubing you know the stuff slingshots are made of and let's say instead of pre mixing due to the safety concerns what if the tubing was just filled with the amount if propane 4% by volume you would normally introduce and also I have no idea who the Goldberg character you are referring to is
