Hi Spudfiles,
I made an advanced combustion cannon to complement my pneumatic cannon Bigfoot! I call it the Wookiee Cannon

There is nothing too novel about this cannon I built because I have seen the same construction techniques done by other users in the past. The only thing that is unique about it is the way I fastened the fan, battery pack, handle, and propane tank to the chamber. I used a heat gun and ABS cement for these fixtures because it was easy and looked a lot cleaner then a bunch of hose clamps.
So here are the specs!
- 4.5 L Chamber (4 inch ABS DWV construction)
- Serviceable 60mm 12v PC fan
- Flashlight 9V battery pack + switch to power the fan
- Piezoelectric BBQ igniter
- 10-32 Brass screw electrical connections through chamber
- Propane fueled regulated at 54 psi
- 1.5 inch venting ball valve
I will post a video of me shooting it in Idaho for Thanksgiving so you can look forward to that. For now, here are some pictures of the cannon and its details:

Yea, Wookies were the good fury...things...auxiliary wrote:That made me laugh! It's a crocheted stuffed Domo Kun that I used to prop up the cannon for that picture. This cannon is designed to be used by Wookiees not on them.
It's not huge like VERA where it can use Wookiees as ammo, but It does have a 2" barrel for potatoes! I will upload a compilation video soon so you can have a better look at the performance.
It is fun to dry fire it without a barrel too!
