Chamber Length

I have been thinking of my new combustion that I want to construct, it consists of dual chambers each 4" diameter with cleanout plugs at each end and the front converges to an over and under design with 3 90 degree bends and a tee and then to either a 4 - 3 in reducer and adapter or a 4in adapter for interchangeable barrels, I haven’t decided yet. But what I was wondering was how much more performance do you think I would get with a 5 foot long chamber vs. a 3 foot long chamber. I was thinking that since a combustion cannon gets its pressure from the fast combustion of gases and that with a longer chamber the time for all of the propane to ignite will take longer and some performance may be lost.
If someone could give me some insight it would be appreciated.
This is an ABS cannon by the way.
By the way if I was to use dual 3 foot long chambers do you think I could use a 4 in barrel.
