This is the first cannon I've ever built and I call it the " Monster Masher". With info from KlugeBoy and Burnt Latke I was able to build a very sucessful and very powerful cannon. Its a 5.25 Liter MAPP gas powered combustion cannon made from 4" Schedule 40 PVC with an internal 80mm combustion fan. A standard gas grille ignitor is used for the ignition. Both handles are completely sealed from the chamber for safety and also threaded on for easy removal and service. MAPP gas tank is also encased in 3" Schedule 40 for added protection. Hope you enjoy the pics. Happy "Spudding" !!

WOW!!! This is your first??? This is better than most "experience" builders. Very, very clean and I love the layout you designed. Looks like it would be very nice to handle.

I am truly impressed. My one and only suggestion/concern:

I hope you have separated the sparker from the chamber with some epoxy or fitting or something. Although this has never happened to me, some say that the trigger could possibly blow upward and possibly damage the finger pressing the sparker. So, if you had it sectioned off with just two holes for wires then that would be safer.

Other than that one minor detail, I absolutely love this gun. It's nothing short of contest worthy in my books :D
