Best wireless ignition system ever

I will be posting instructions on how to make the best ignition system!
Now this ignition system will allow you to make the most dangerous cannons ever, because you can ignite them wirelessly from 100ft away!
My idea is very simple i already made many flyback circuits that pump out 10KV and make a continuous 1.5in arc so i will use that, what the design would be is a cheap remote control car that is modded so that when you push drive the motors won't turn on but a solid state or mechanical relay will turn on and provide power to a high voltage flyback circuit that will make very hot arks and set off the cannon. I can also make other ignition systems where you flip the switch and a light blinks and you have 10 seconds to back away but that is hard to make.
This unit would be enclosed in a small black box with a few on and off switches and lights with an antenna sticking out of the top.
The controller can stay the same unless you want to trick it and put it in a black box with switches and lights.
The final design will be about $50-$60 but it add's safety and a very intimidating design.
I assembled the first part of it but i still need some other parts that i will get tommorow like the boxes.
IF you are interested and maybe want a video on how it works in depth then please post that you do because i can tell you where to get all the things that you need off the internet and how to make it.
thanks and also tell me if you guys think this is a practical ignition system.

100 ft away, eh? From an R/C controller? Or will you amp up the power a bit?

100ft is not that far but i am sure that there is some way, my R/C plane has a 500ft range and i tested it, i think i just need to amplify the signal, a bigger antenna or something but i will see, i mainly need this to set off my oxygen/mapp gas mini from another room remotly in case it explodes because i don't know if it can take the pressure. But the cheap R/C cars from walmart for like $12 have a decent range 75-100ft.
The R/C part should be fine but i need atleast 2 hours to put the thing together and i do not have a remote control car so my first ignition system will be wired with two mono jacks one for output to the sparkgap and the other for a wireless attachment.

Hey Spudblaster a 1/4 mile away?
what kind of R/C equipment are you using an R/C car or custom equpiment?
Maybe i can use a walkie talky for extreme distance like miles.
Spudbuster i should show you how to make a flyback unit they beat the hell out of a standard BBQ ignitor basically it has 2 resistors. 1 transistor, a flyback and some wire and with a little help i could help you get a steady 10kila Volt ark.
Trust me a flyback is better than a taser i melted through plastic with the arc from a flyback and them i touched the wires after it was off and got residual energy pumped into my arm and i could not feel my arm for a day LOL

Blah, the cars at walmart have a range of like 25-40 ft for me. Sorry if I was a jerk, just personal experience with R/C cars.

i could make a wireless ignition and fire it a mile away. RC airplane trasmitters can do that, but there is no point for a cannon. just use a servo to click the ignitor and there you go.
anyway, i think its a good idea for testing new hybrids and things of that nature.

Ah, well, you should have explained that in the first post.

yea i need to finish the flyback today i have one unit built but i am using it for my gauss cannon, or a magnetic BB gun which i cannot use that one.

You can also use the "page" button on a portable phone.

Check it out its my first pneumatic and it's done woo hoo now i am going to build a mini or a high end ignition system.

You know, if you could take the microwave emitters out of microwave ovens and rig them to put out a more concentrated beam of microwaves, you could just put a piece of metal in the chamber and the microwaves would cause it to spark. Or you could go with the previous idea on this page, whatever trips your trigger...

But why not just use it as a particle weapon by itself?
Set the neighbors dog on fire or something.
(ok, I really dont think it would be easy to do this anyway, though the millitary has been working on similar projects).

This is true, but we're talking about ignition systems here. Just proposing the idea. Though it didn't seem to work too well for Adam on Mythbusters... But I bet he just messed it up.
