A basic design. Shoots potatos and candles. has a 18"X 3" chamber and a five foot 1 1/2" detachable barrel. Uses metered propane or MAPP Gas. I screwed up on the ratio somehow, I calculated it backwards or something. None the less it shoots extremely well.

excellent paintjob. excellent cannon too. i think you have a brushed fan in there, bt it wont matter. very nice cannon, i recommend a propane meter if you have the cash and time.

It has one, it's just not an on-board meter.

Yes actual leaves. For that particular camo job start with a tan base coat. Then paint random areas with brown, not the hole thing, just spots. then do the same with olive in the areas not covered by the brown. When all this dries gather up some leaves and twigs and hold in random configurations over the surface. Paint with the tan paint over the leaves, spray lightly from a distance. I recommend the Krylon spray paint, especially the Fusion kind. Krylon makes paints especially for camouflage, if you can't find these for some reason, just be sure to use flat color paint.

That is a sweet cannon. The camo rocks, but why is your handle so long?

The handle is long because the trigger is at the center of gravity.

It looks real nice, and its a smart thing of putting the handle that way its in the center.

I hope for you your fan (wich does look sweet) doesnt spark inside...
How does it perform?

It is powerful. Fires on the first shot each time. I admit that the electrodes are a little close to the fan (my bad) but it doesn't affect it. I built this one at my cousin's in virginia and sent it back to Louisiana via UPS. I brought the barrel with me to the airport and checked it in as luggage.

No, it is electromagnetic. Even if it was a brush it wouldn't matter. I have a larger cannon that uses an old power wheels motor that is a brush and it makes no difference, no spontaneous ignition.
