I'm giving this valveless design a go
POLAND_SPUD approves of the design

wouldn't you need a notch on each of teh disks to screw them in ?

The longer one will be permanently epoxied in place, I'll cut... nay, mill a notch in the shorter one to fit a screwdriver ;)

I'm sure he'll use as high as possible, maybe 15-20 or higher, but there's no way to predict the pop pressure of this design without testing first so we have to wait till the epoxy cures to find out what mix he's using. Hopefully that o-ring will tighten up enough for a 25-30x mix.

You have no idea how warm and tingly it makes me inside :) and I've only had it for just under two weeks!

Gun Freak summed it up, the chamber volume in this case is tiny so I'm hoping to go the whole 28x or so available with syinge metering for decent power.

Thanks... but you're the temporary custodian of the fabled MiniBoy of legend, your standards for coitus-y should be sky high ;)

Updated the diagram to reflect actual construction:

did you use the lathe to roughen up the epoxied part?

Naturally :)

I'm not convinced it's going to hold pressure because of the way the o-ring is supported, it might need a more sophisticated mount. We'll see, testing later today.

I'd be more worried about keeping the pellet in place rather than leakage

test this one and if it won't work you might add two mounts - one for o-ring that keeps seals and one for a washer (or some o-ring made of harder material) to keep the pellet from popping

As mentioned elsewhere, I doubt it will be an issue.

Well this shall be an interesting video. Just in case the epoxy blows out the back of it, film it on high speed!

Just as I feared, I was unable to get it to seal. I tried boring it out to 6mm from the original 5.5mm and use it with an airsoft BB but to no avail.

This needs some more thought, and maybe a change of attitude towards design.
