Here is my progress thus far in a do-it-yourself version of an over under style Combustion/Hybrid design. It will consist of standard parts that can be ordered online. What is shown is a 3" chamber, 1 1/2" barrel and 2" camlock. Of course that can all be increased for more cost and weight. The design will be wire free, but probably not clamp free...but maybe.
The only machining will be tapping holes and anyone with access to a drill and home depot can accomplish that. The complete cannon can be achieved for around $1,000 the way its looking. That should be able to include a laser sight & sling and maybe a couple other goodies by anyone who decides to go out and build one.
Its a 100% 6061-T6 design thats weld and machine free save the tapping. The weight so far of what you are looking at is just under 13lbs. Not bad for a bigass hand held hybrid beauty of mass destruction. Overall weight is likely to arrive at around 18lbs. Let me know what you think!
It should beat the hell out of a steel pipe truck mounted monster that is typical of hybrids this size, no no no??? It can be painted pink even. Make one for your mother.

Oh, its breech loading of course. Also, notice the threads on the end of the barrel...those are left there from a standard aluminum pipe. Can you whisper "removable silencer"??

So is it good or SUCK?

Not to be picky, but does this have something new and innovative? If he added some burst disk autoloader, on board fuel/air premix system or something unique, then yes, but so far it looks like a typical over/under hybrid.

I think this when finished would be a cannon showcase item, not a contest item.
