I made this thing really quick, welding brass and copper it's way faster than epoxy

. took me like 2 hours to fix a leak on the spark thread
I was wanting something I can shot inside, this raining for weeks here

When I was about to shot it (keeping it at mix10, don't know much about copper), then I found out that I have left my camera (the Nikon J1) with a friend, so video will be there as soon as I meet her.
Barrel it's 650mm of aluminum tube, use 6mm steel BBs.

Same here - it loks nice
plsu since it's a coax you can probably make a stock for it and make it look like a normal gun
ever considered using a tap as the valve ?
essentially somethign like this ->

it has a seat and a plunger - the trick is to file the screw on the rod and put a spring behind the plunger
works ok but I can't tell how much it reduces performance

Yap, if everything goes well it deserves a stock.
What you mean by tap? If you're talking about making it simular to Jack's cartridges I'd say I don't that the facilities to make one with a special charging station for the tap.
Edit: didn't see the picture. And now I have no idea what you were talking about

Very nice, let's see more hybrids like this! To prove to the n00bs that it's not exactly <s>brain surgery</s> rocket science and you can make a ghetto hybrid which works and is safe without much financial or technical outlay

What did she want to film in slow motion eh eh?

I've been told that a girl getting slapped in the face with a particular protruberance is even more amusing at 1000 frames per second

What, slapping a girl with a manboob?
I've actually seen both, it's a real laff

Got my camera

and broke my left leg on the way back

it hurt so damn much!
Gonna try take a shot.
Edit: anybody want to see a guy get slapped in the face at 400 fps

it's pretty funny.

You broke your leg when you went to get the camera?
Nice hybrid by the way, I should build another one for the sake of it

I was happy to have my camera back in one piece, took one step too fast on a wet woody ground, bang! Dislocated my left leg.

Ah, so not actually broke the bone then. Pretty nonchalant about it if that was the case hehe

Not the bone, but the softer stuff between bones are somewhat wrong. I can't even sit straight

Nice looking hybrid you got there. Sorry to hear about your leg i have done the same thing to my shoulder a couple of times its not very much fun at all. One thing i would like to see if you have a chrono put some .12gm airsoft bbs in there just to see what kind of silly velocitys you could get.
