What type of steel is it? Tubing or pipe, and what material?
Also, who'd you get to weld it?

Nice nice!Do you actualy use this as a hybrid or is just an oxygen rich combustion without the burst disks and compressed atmospheres?Have you that the chance to chrony graph this gun and the velocities it reaches?
Just wondering what does determain(sp?) a hybrid?Is this actualy a hybrid?Just wondering...

the chamber is forged steel sch 40 pipe and i had it welded by my buddy who is ticketed to weld on high pressure steam lines, and i pressurize the chamber to around 20 psi with an optimal mix, however i dont use a burst disc because there is a buhr in the copper pipe that holds the spud in place

Noice.
Just so you know, this is the nicest cannon that has passed these forums in a LONG time. Not to mention I havent seen a hybrid in a long time to. Paint is uber nice, also kept the controls nice and simple. Didnt notice the 'shock absorbing platform' tell just barely, and nice job on that as well. Good job on the metal work, cant see any welds close up, but they look nice from far away :-p.
Ive searched eBay tons of times looking for those 'TorchMate' torches that adapt both to the reverse thread on the Oxy tank and the normal on the MAPP/ Propane bottle. Havent searched as of late, but havent had success finding one under 30$ including shipping (which I intend to do, and not get suckered by my impatience). Enough rambling, nice job!
[Come on guys, this deserves more then these sh*tty two liners you give for ever other pill bottle cannon out there. The constructer actually put some T-I-M-E into this cannon...]

Just wondering what does determain(sp?) a hybrid?Is this actualy a hybrid?Just wondering... ~rna_duelers
