Aim making a hybrid cannon with a simple bottle, I didn't place this topic mini because of the huge power. The valve wil be a 16mm bulletvalve that i mount in the mouth of the bottle. The feul for the combustion wil be hydrogen

, I wil make al little fuelmeter and a station for generating hydrogen.

PS: pictures soon

Dude ur just asking to lose a hand on this one! And what th3p0p0 said film it so we can send it in to Worlds Most Amazing Videos or something like that. But i would like to see ur Hydrogen Producing Station

@Brooner115
I will calculate how much hydrogen and oxygen i wel need to shoot

Ok, you obviously dont know what you are doing, so here:
If you've never built a gun before, start with a combustion or pneumatic.
Read the wiki link at the top of the page.
Using hydrogen in a hybrid is just asking for trouble, I wouldnt even put a sch40 steel chamber past 2x without a blast shield. If you are using hydrogen in a plastic coke bottle, it will probably explode on th first shot, probably at just 1x.

um, coke bottle will take 150 psi
hydrogen in atmosphere has 200 psi combustion i read somewhere
hybrid is out of the question, and hydrogen as a fuel is out of the question

Hydrogen is good for a few scenarios:
1) Rockets (light weight reaction products)
2) Rockets (light weight)
3) High velocity projectile launches (light weight reaction products)
#1 and #2 don't apply to you, and #3 isn't really much of a benefit.
Hydrogen also has the following disadvantages:
1) Lower pressure produced than propane-air
2) More violent reaction (bad for the bottle)
*********
That said, it's defiantly possible to build a hybrid using a bottle.
The caveat is that you won't be able to run a very high mix in it - surely no higher than a 1.5x mix... and even then, a blast wall might be a good idea.

Butterfly valve?
Plastic bottle?
H2/O2 Hybrid?

ok this might sound stupid but how will a butterfly valve work on a hybrid?

All I have to say is this: Nice try J. Robert Oppenheimer...

Umm... Ummm, yeah...umm.
Wait- THAT IS A FREAKIN BOMB!
Please please please try this with a web cam link so we can all enjoy the fun!
The limbs you lose should also be donated to Spudfiles so admin can sell them plus footage on e-bay. (Gotta cover costs somehow!)
Peace

Gatorade bottles can hold propane, but that's as far as I'd take a plastic bottle. Now, since this has a very high chance of exploding, by all means I support making a hydrogen "bomb" in a bottle, but please use a blast shield, and if your hydrogen injector station thing catches on fire, then make sure you have a clear path to run like you're crossing the border.

i think we should have a moment of silence for this mans body, mind, various limbs, and , last but not least, his stupidity.
i donate this gift to you:

If you want to see what you're getting into, keep a small plastic bottle filled with water over two electrolitic electrodes (with the opening under the surface of the water so it keeps the water in), then leave it like that with current running for a day or until the hydrogen and oxygen fill the bottle. Then put on a cap with a hole in it on while putting a finger over the hole to not let any gasses out and slide a sparkler or fuse in the hole after you have taken the bottle out of the water, you may want to put some clay or something around the sparkler as you put it in to get a better seal, take it to a safe location, and light. A very loud noise and airborne pieces of plastic will follow.
