This is my much better designed hybrid and it is finished.
All I need to do now is set the meter.
It has a 650 ML chamber and has a modded spark plug for ignition.
The union is 3/8" and the barrel is 1/2" Pvc for now, until I can get a 3/8" copper barrel

As soon as I do some test shots tomorrow.
My ammo will be a giant nail with tape on it.

ok. a nail? would'nt it spin like battery's do? that is only if you shoot it from a distance though...

also how much did it cost you to make?

he's using a spark plug to ignite it not a piezo
It has a 650 ML chamber and has a modded spark plug for ignition.

He <B>IS</B> using a piezoelectronic igniter to ignite the mixture. The spark-plug is just the spark gap.

BTW, nice cannon. Is that chamber a CO2 bottle? If so what type of nipple did you use to attach the union?

Posted: Mon Jul 30, 2007 3:18 pm
by frankrede
The chamber is a co2 that I tapped 3/8" npt into it.
It was real easy.
The nipple is just a 3/8"npt close

Ya I might have to upgrade my ignition source before I get to do any fail tests.

haha thanks spudthug, those little xrs are fun
I suppose I could hold it and shoot it.
