OK boys whats the scoop on shrouds around your vortex block? do they affect ROF? make your BBMG jam less frequently? are they really all that necessary?

If I'm talking about what I think I am, they keep the BB from just flying out and not going into the barrel. Obviously, you wan them in the barrel; fast. They don't affect jamming. They do affect ROF. They are necessary.

well i always thought they were put in place to avoid flooding the block with BBs and therefore jamming the gun. they would affect ROF but its necessary so as not to jam it up

if you mean inside the vortex hole?
yes you can do that . but you will need to make the shrouds heaps thin or you will get bugger all ROF, thats my theory anyway :?
