Hey guys, I was wondering if it was possible to use a paint spray gun? I used the search bar, found out that you can use tyre/air pressure guns however I couldn't find anything about paint spray guns. I'm mainly interested in if you can remove the nozzle on the end and replace it with a 3/4'' fitting or similar? If it is possible to remove the nozzle could should be able to plug the inlet for the paint.
Also is there any specific Qev and slide valve that I should use, quality wise and also flow rate compared to cheap ebay ones?
I'm planning on using a 60L sodastream tank.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Kind regards,
Datsun.

Do you want to use this as your main valve, or as a pilot for a Quick Exhaust Valve?

i tried to use oneof this as a pilot for my 8 mm qev...and i ended up cutting it and mod it . It should probably work as it is if you block the hole where the paint is sucked in..and remove the "sprayer" ..
come undone
Should I bother hacking one of these up or just use a slide valve for the pilot? I'd like to go semi or fully auto. Also do I need a ball valve between the sodastream canister and the Qev or slide valve/spray gun? From what I've read they're rated to 150psi but can handle more? I'm planing on using compressed air with the sodastream canister instead of co2.
