Use a laptop with a webcam and motion detecting software.... This has been done before, I believe with a semiautomatic paintball gun, but it could definitely be adapted to this airsoft turret idea here. I'll consider building one at some point. Probably won't happen, but I'd love to do it...

those cheap mini's don't last long so good thing they had 4, a word of advice for anyone who trys this, Don't buy you airsoft goodies from some local place like walmart or sports athourity thay are almost always overpriced. try ebay or an online dealer
