For cloud bbmg's i notice you connect the barrel with a compression fitting. I was looking on mcmaster.com and noticed that there are two kinds. see pics below. Which one is the right one to use.

Both are right if I presumed correctly. Basically all a cloud bbmg is, is a container of bb's connected to a barrel with an air current blowing the bb's around. The bb's follow the air current out the only release a.k.a the barrel. Some people just glue on a pen lid for one, I did an it works fine.

way to not answer his question.
They botha re the same and for most situations you would want the top one with male threads.
