its about 6.27 mm or .247 inchs in diameter and a foot long. airsoft bbs are 5.93 mm or .2335 inches in diameter so with what i have now there is about a .34 mm or .0135 inch blow by for the barrel im using. (i love my digital caliper)

Thats probley as tight a bore as you are going to get in the bbmg world. Theres always buying an airsoft barrel their about 6.03mm idk if this would make bb entrance more difficult. But other wise nice gun man, I just was thinking about how stupid my accuracy test was. Its not possible to count bb's that shred paper disregard what i said earlier about the accuracy test. LOL.

Try PEX water tubing. its sold by the hoses and stuff...... its great shit. i think its about 6.04mm ID (stock airsoft barrel) and its cheap........ problem is its flexy. if you want to make sure its the right size just bring a few bb's to the store and see what fits. if you cant find the PEX tubing in rolls by the way, it is sold with the flexy braided toilet hoses and has a funky nub at one end. in this form, it is sold in 30 inch lengths. this stuff is great. i made a sniper outta this and i can hit ANYTHING from 100 feet away.

Yeah man. I just built my first cloud and it ROCKS. Seriously though, you should get some 1/4" brakeline and make yourself a .177 metal bbmg. Mine has a female adapter at the front end to accommodate multiple threaded caps with different size barrels in them. (As far as I know I'm the first person to do that...) Nice gun though!

i have a sniper too but i broke it in half and im sad(i was sniping at a target 200 or so ft away from my room 2 storys up and i droped it, i live next to a steep hill). it was powerful and could hit anything at 300 ft and only be off by 22 or so inches. the body was stor bought but the inside was all my design and im not telling how i did it.

Of course you'll want an ID as close to, but not equal or smaller than 6mm. Obviously.

Hmm, about accuracy... I think that with Airsoft BB's, I'm guessing you have the .12g ones right? The faster you push those light-weight BB's, the more prone to straying off course they are. So ideally you want the heaviest BB's possible for best accuracy, but the heavier you go, the more PSI you'll need to stay at a constant FPS & Rounds per second.

yeah, also, as you increase bb weight, the more impact force the gun has. 400 FPS with a .12 will go through one side of a soda can, and dent the other. 400 FPS with a .2 gram bb goes straight through both sides of a can, and with 400 FPS with a .3 gram bb you go straight through the bottom of cans.
