My popoff pops out at 8, so even if I had 1000 bar it doesn't matter.
I may machine my own popoff to pop out at 20 bar or so...

I was mucking around with making my own pop off valve for this reason, but they can be a real pain to get to cycle correctly, the commercial ones work heaps better. In my opinion it is just easier to unscrew the plug out of the top, either shim up the spring or replace it with a higher rate spring.

By the way Psycix, i made a quick ghetto version of you're pop off QEV gun. Made a barrel and mag out of carbon fiber tube, and started shooting some 6mm lead sinkers. lets just say I had a smile on my face

Turns out I have some 1/8" NPT fittings after all high pressure auto to come soon, but first I'm going to make a schrader adapter so I can use this as a fill tank (fits nicely into the adapter I use to fill my Daystate from the SCUBA tank woohoo!) - I want to see what the pengun V2can do at 850 psi*

Heck, Jack has built anything and everything in a syringe. The reason is, he's got a good supply. In other words, he nicks them from his day job, where he manufactures drugs.

As I'm sure he will tell you if I don't, they're not the type anyone not totally insane would use recreationally.

But anyway, if every time he used a syringe it proved the namer for the mechanical concept, we'd be inundated with "syringe bolt", "syringe valve", "syringe chamber", "syringe dildo", "syringe flaming pink elephant"...

Now, on the notes of flaming (no, not flaming as relates to the speed metal loving peanut fiend), I know spudmanb3 has completely failed to read the topic, but it adds nothing to flame and swear at him.
As anyone who's been around here long enough knows, I'm more likely to berate the flamers than the person who didn't read the topic. (I'm even doing it now, look)

But back to the weaponry (I might make this my signature).



In the T-piece have you got any kind of "hop-up"/similar to prevent the BBs rolling out the barrel? If so what about an inline magazine? Basically just a barrel extension running rearwards from the T-piece, with the air from your valve coming up the T instead so that it enters between the first two BBs?

Nice and easy to do, no worries about double feeds as the air would push the remaining BBs out the way, and that way you don't have anything sticking up out of the gun to snag/get in the way of sighting.
