That is very very nice. So nice I am close to just going out and making my own like that. Great design!
Do not look back, and grieve over the past, for it is gone;
Do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come;
Live life in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.

Will we ever see a hard air bbmg?
This concept would be great with metal bb's..

I've made 'em in .177 caliber, but frankly I prefer airsoft because I can shoot people with them and not go to jail*.
It only takes a quick barrel change to make this one -or any of the UI series- into .177. I get my BBs for really cheap if they're airsoft, so for practicality I tend to use them more frequently over .177 caliber.
*A caveat: don't shoot people with airsoft guns when they're not playing airsoft. THAT will land you in jail

Good to see you around again, and nice work as always. Looks like the customer is really happy with it.
Do you use your Mark II in matches a lot?

Clide!!! Long time, no see!
I got into airsoft with my BBMG, and I still play with it. Now that I've got a hop-up unit for it, there's no reason not to use it. I've improved upon the design continually, and now I've got a really solid gun that does all I expect from it. It rocks, and has cost me much less than a similarly outfitted "real" airsoft gun. Not too bad, methinks.
Brother-
1. 2" Schedule 40 clear PVC from McMaster-Carr (McMaster.com)
2. 2" PVC rod, also from McMaster

Very well done, did you block off the cam coupling from the stock with a pvc disk of somthing?
elite- that's actually a plug that I bored out to accept a short length of 1" pipe, in which the spring rides. The pipe is just long enough to accept the ~3" of the compressed spring when the chamber is fully loaded.
brother & velocity - the spring compresses the BBs fairly tightly, but not enough to jam them. They're actually springs from the buttstock assembly of an AR-15 rifle.

It goes from 1" pipe to 1" coupling to 1.5" ABS (hence the black color), with a plug in the end attached to a piece of 1/4" sheet cut to fit a slip-on AR-15 buttstock pad. It's a SOLID stock!elitesniper wrote:ahh, good idea! Oh I though that stock was from a bike pump base

Looks nice, 90rps works out to… 5400rpm… that means that the 1500 round magazine lasts under a quarter of a second!
Say NeoSpud, what ever became of your CylBelt?

Maybe some day I'll finish it... I'll see if I still have that diagram somewhere...
