i was at my friends house and i got his airsoft barrel from hus broken gun..... i was usin it as a blowgun and shootin targets. i also got several RIS rails.

@ BLB and Tweak: yer, AC sprinkler valves can run off batteries, mine is rated 24V AC but i run it off 18V DC. the only problem is i wrecked the momentary switch so i raplaced it with a normal switch so have to remember to turn it off manually after every shot, big risk if i forget lol cos the batteries heat up and can explode lol.
yer, its a sweet gun i might have to make 1 i i get time and money lol.

couple of q's.

1. how long does it take to pump up? i assume not long...

2. any ideas where i can get a barrel like that in australia?

i think an AC solenoid will run on DC it is just an electromagnet anyways

just how silent is the crow killer? and what type of sprinkler valve, release did u use on this gun? over all its a cool design

looks like some type of rainbird valve, i would have modded it, this ones still electronically actuated

you know, if you used some copper piping and as short of an amount as you could get, that gun would fire much harder

how much psi can those valves handle. Well what's the greatest that you have seen anyways? (by you I mean whoever reads this i know this is an old thread)

attatching a blow gun will work but it wont work as fast as the solinoid valve and blow guns cost around $12 and solinoid valves cost $15 so yeah make up your own mind but solinoid valves are the way to go :D
