Burst firing mode/ semi with vortex block.
jack, it doesnt appear that theres a vortex in that gun. I was asking if you could use the popoff system and then have the bursts from that go into the vortex block, but with the same amount of power as just a vortex block would have, thus giving the vortex style of loading a burst fire mode.

Qev+ pop-off works perfectly well with a vortex chamber.
Then rate of fire can be adjusted by squeezing the flow with a small valve.
Tried it last year, and it worked...No problem.
My problem is, I want it to be independant and configured in a compact and nice way.

it seem to me that you are looking for a BBMG with a detent... with it you could get lower ROF but with more power per shot...

QEV wiki article
A detent is a device such as a tight o-ring or a spring loaded ball in the breech that resists the motion of the projectile before it starts down the barrel, this stops it from rolling out before firing and allows pressure to build up behind it before it starts to move, increasing power and allowing rate of fire to be varied to some extent.

No, a pop-off valve actuates when a certain volume is reached. A QEV on the other hand fires when its pilot chamber is emplied, just like a piston valve.
