alright its all done, and yes the 2 hoses are held together with tape.. LOTS OF TAPE...... one hose was wrapped in teflon tape and fitted into the other for about 2 inches. then it was teflon taped all over, duct taped, teflon taped again, and electrical tape.. and it doesnt leak at 80 psi

Or perhaps to keep within the vegetable scope of "spud"guns...turns out carrots might not be as good for your eyes as the hype would lead one to believe hehe

Ha-ha-ha
That carrot just made my day .
I built a cardboard p90 using the guts of a nerf rapid-fire 20. Got about 200 fps. If I had figured out that a longer barrel would get 350 or so and I knew the basic blow-forward mechanism to get semi-auto back then I never would have taken it apart and ultimately broken it.
Word of advice asian: Never take something apart for parts if it works well. Chances are you'll regret it.

Just realized something: You are using a water bottle as the air tank.
That's a really bad idea. Try a soda bottle, they are made to hold pressure cause of the CO2.

it is true that that is a water bottle, but it is VERY strong, surprisingly...
just like propel and Gatorade bottles, they're almost indestructible
well, i lost the cap yesterday =p. i shot it off into the distance.... and it had the valve on it...... lol
so, im gonna make another tank with a 3 liter soda bottle. and i still have plenty of valves.
but yea, thanks for pointing that out, i was wondering how much more it could take..
