I´ve allready explained the QEV.
It serves as a vortex chamber.
Temperature is a big factor with CO2 pressure drop.Tire inflators generally use 16 gram bulbs so it should work better.
I have not considered an O-ring on this particular build.
The idea seems appealing, but it would suffer from wear a great deal.
Plus, I've never got it working properly in the
first place..
@ Poland: I like the Skiff, but although the rotary magazine gives you a lot of shots, I's like it better if it had a conventional metal mag, holding less.
Like it's predecessors.
Just a matter of taste I guess. The gun itself is above average
The resin is setting as we speak ( I thought we only wrote?)
It will need a few more coats before it reaches it's final shape.
I perfected the trigger.I changed out the original spring in the valve for a weaker one to get smoother triggerpull, wich did wonders.
I inclosed the trigger-pivotpoint inbetween two square nuts , and it turns out there is NO room for it to rattle, yet it functions smoothly.
Curing one mayor disadvantage the Deathray had.Triggerpull was just a bit on he heavy side.
I also lodged a smaller pipe into the QEV outport, leading up to the elbow. This will lessen blowby in the "rise rube" causing it to feed faster and even more reliably.
I'm off for a long weekend holiday, so I'll get back to you guys some time next week.
edit: I drill holes in the barrel and put a sleeve over it, with wadding inside.Your post crossed mine, I was referring to the post before yours.
