check a autoparts store and ask for brakeline
I am unsure on the size.
bsb might work in the barrel, but if they did leave the barrel, it would not go far at all

you want 4.5mm/0.177" inner diameter tube for steel BBs and 6mm/0.237" inner diameter tube for airsoft - the best thing to do is take some ammo with you and try it out, though maybe you don't want to store staff to see you

9/32" brakeline is perfect for airsoft, and 1/4" brakeline is pretty good for normal BBs.

i happen to have just upgraded a barrel in one of my airsoft guns to a tight bore... i happen to have a standard (6.07 or 6.08mm bore not sure) barrel which i have no use for (my vortex already has a tight bore in it) interesting in buying it? its from an AK so its 455mm long. an airsoft barrel will work with metal bbs (.177) but the performance is horrible in my experience (used them in an airsoft vortex gun one time)

I have heard that you can go and get an arrow from like wall-mart and that would be a perfect barrel.

i just found this place called craig indoor swap meet in las vegas, and you can ask them for an airsoft barrel. They are about 1 buck for a 6 inch pistol barrel.

actually the store staff here at the advance auto where i go to dont care. i even tell them that im not using it for brakeline and when they ask what size i need i just show them the airsoft bb and say that this needs to fit perfectly inside it.

That's no reason not to be careful, imagine a kid in your neighbourhood builds a high pressure pneumatic and goes around breaking people's car windows with it, and the police suspect a homemade device and go and ask the store staff for details of who might be using brakeline for airsoft barrels. It's a bit of a stretch, I know, but why risk it?

yea i know what you mean but i didnt mean walk in there and tell them your making a bbmg. but if there standing there with you then you dont really have a choice.( the brake line where i go is in the back so they take me back there)
