6mm bb sniper.
ok i have finally decided i am going to start my 6mm bb sniper, it is going to be all made out of copper, and i have made a wooden stock for it to be fitted into i will have to do some mods to the stock for it to fit. the chamber is 80mm in length and 50mm in diameter the barrel is 500mm in length and 6mm in diameter. i will use 6mm metal ball bearing and air rifle pellets as ammunition. if you guys have any suggestion please let me know.

agreed - a much more important benefit of using a smaller diameter chamber is that you can make your piston much smaller and lighter, reducing pilot volume and overally stresses to the system.experament-u2 wrote:maby use some pipe smaller than 50mm, i just think it might be a bit big and cost a pretty penny
For small calibre launchers, I recommend low volume and high pressure as opposed to vice versa.

I agree with Jack and U-2, high pressure would work better, and look better.
What kind of wood is the stock made from?
