I finally have time to work on my mag fed bbmg now that vacation has started. as of right now i built a few of the pieces and tacked together the body of the gun with hot glue. I thought i should share it with you guys and see if you have any ideas that could improve the final product before i start epoxying parts together. its construction was inspired by boltsniper's scar nerf gun

Upper Receiver - this will house the AEG barrel and the hop up system

Lower Receiver
- this will house the blowgun, trigger, and mag well (mag well not constructed) along with the tubes going to and from the mag well

Custom Trigger
- this part was added to improve the feel of the blow gun valve which will be hidden in the trigger housing, it is constructed from lexan. this will be the first gun i have made which will have a true trigger

Blowgun - self explanatory

Standard AEG Barrel - a standard bore Ak barrel, i have chosen to use AEG barrels so i could upgrade to a tight bore if i wanted to.

2" Tactical Bay - i am particularly excited about this, i plan to mount it using RIS or a similar system when the gun is finished so it can be removed easily. i am hoping to make three different attachments one will be a sniper module (modded gas pistol), another will be a grenade launcher(small coaxial cannon), and the third will be a flash light/laser combo.

prototyping mag - this was built simply to watch the flow of bbs when the system is in use. it is quite interesting even though the housing is square the bbs still move in a vortex pattern around the edges of the mag. the final mag will not have clear sides and will be a little thinner

so.... any suggestions?

paint the gun black and I will be in love.

Also for an attachment you could include the Prototype Flash cannon me and immortal are working on... or maybe a night vision scope like the one we are also making... or a Masterkey would be sweet as well... all in black of course.

Davidvaini - flash cannon... sounds interesting, is it electronically or chemically based? i once tried to make an electronically based flash grenade but decided it would be completely ineffective during the day, not to mention fragile. i don't think i would mount an NV scope on here but i did just order some crazy powerful IR LEDs so i might make an IR flashlight attachment

elitesniper - every part of the body is standard PVC that has been modified in one way or another. or were you talking about the tube which will run through the insides of the gun?

c19o - thanks, think i should make a quick vid of it in action

got a cheap digital camera... if so you can convert it to a digital night vision scope with that IR flashlight.... the Flash cannon is electronic but very solid and as of any electric cannon its 30% effective in the day time and 100% effective at night... depends on how many night time games you play...

you know, looking at this makes me want to give up constructing a reciporicating piston and just make one of these...... nice work!
