This is the ultimate automatic bb gun prototype. I still have to add the bb magazine pipe and trigger. But this is a good start. Atm the gun only works from a range of 6-8 bars, I am ganna try to increase this range by changing masses and spring tensions.

The bottom shorter tube is there to recock the system (it is sealed as shown in the pics), the top tube is the barrel and has a seperate. The tube that you c in the video is connected to my proud'' bottle setup as used on different guns I made. I the slowmotion part of the vid the framerate was too slow to register the real motion, thats why the your hear more then you see:) Enjoy Btw the framerate for the slowmotion part is too low thats why it looks weird, everything runs pure of the bottle.

Sounds great in slow motion :)
-or, is that just the compressor-

Wow, that really sounds great!
Do you mind showing a diagram of how it works?

so does it work by the lower tube going forward, which slided the barrel forward to load it, then the rubber band closes it and it fires?

i thinks its a great design and its very well done.

Just so you know, this guy can't even make a piston gun.... :P

Thnx. Well it is supposed to shoot as fast as my previous guns> around 350-400ft/s

Thnx. It works similar to my older type of bb gun. This time I have 2 valve tubes instead of one. The bottom tube is used as a cylinder and the top as a barrel. When the whole hits back because of the elastic band the barrel shoots and the bottom tube gets full of air and recocks the system.

For the working of the valve, look at this previous animation:

Ill make one for this one later

Thnx
In this movie I only ran from the bottle. So the compressor was of.

Thnx. Plz look above for explanation, but yeah its something like what ur saying.

Not sure if you are being ironic? But I think I did prove'' that before:

I am just experimenting with a hammer type of gun. I mean if you look at paintball you c ehm all the time. As I said before pistons require a higher budget, so thats why I decided to make this prototype instead of a bigger piston:) Do you think my guns dont have potential enough or what? Atm rate of fire and amount of shots on a pressure vessle is more important then velocities as I am building these for airsoft purposes''.

Yes I was. You bypassed all the simple stuff and went for the "impossible". Nice work.

Thnx, yeah as you know it wont be that easy. But I am kinda disapointed with the pressure range it works on. But with the piston auto you have the same problem as the poppet only opens at a certain pressure. I still have to install a magazine etc, I think its ganna be hard to make something where the bbs dont jam.

Thnx. Well actually talking about simple stuff> This system isnt anything new. If you look at my past gun, it uses the same valve. I made one like this before but the pipes didnt allign so it was shit so I knew I had to remake it sometime:)

z0mg that sounds awesome, i so want to try to make one of those, but i think i'll start making the semi-auto one you made, no offense though that gun looks like it's prone to jamming XS, though i love the thought of full-auto :)

and i thought of a way more simpler way to make a detachable air tank :(
i found a video on youtube, shradervalve + plastic bottle, i just need to find the sealing part for it, then woot, portable XD

hey do you use your semi-auto's and stuff to play airsoft wargames back there... or in your area you can purchase airsoft?
It's Nerf or Nothing.

Don't start crying when I play this as my hobby, Paintball, Airsoft and Nerf are equally good hobbies, except you can play Nerf in public. Good day! Hmph!

THnx. Yeah jamming might be a problem. I use a cola bottle and a shrader valve. Its really simple as can be seen from my previous guns: Image Image
Btw the semiauto gun u are talking about is actually not really semi, as in you have to recock it yourself :S But yeah rate of fire is pretty high as you can c on its vid.

well it seems like a semi-automatic airsoft gun, cause ur not cocking it really... but if ur implying the trigger recocks itself, then i get what u mean... i'll just call semi-auto anyway

and yay i finally get how your auto prototype works lol, may took me a while but i'm slow,

1. Rubber band pulls back to push into poppet valve
2. the tube below has a spring which is abit stronger than the rubber band
3. spring below recocks the barrel forward, and rubber band pulls back again, and it repeats itself.

Although it's prone to jamming but if you can put the hammer in the right position then it wont' jam i reckon. . and the trigger should be easy, u only need a "sandwich" thing again with a trigger jamming the rubber band, and when u pull it, let it rip...

You're a Genius would of never thought of that, I love it XD

The bottom tube also has a valve just like the top one with the barrel. When the bottom tube hits the valve some air is let out. This air pushes everything back forward (piston effect) as the bottom alu tube is sealed. It works like this gun:

But my design now has a barrel so it can actually shoot. The one in this vid is fake'' as the barrel is clogged. (I made it 4-5 years ago).

hmm when u say 2 valves it doesn't sound air efficient... and so the rubber band isn't too hard?

and i reckon to decrease the weight of the barrel not sure if it'll work, you should cut the barrel moving back wards shorter, connect a 10mm (8mm diameter inside) barrel by putting it inline with the moving 8mm barrel (6mm diameter inside), so the 8mm barrel is moving back and forth and the 10mm barrel is stationary....

although i have no idea if that'll affect the accuracy, but i reckon it might increase the rate of fire... well just an idea XS
