Hey guys again, i'm here again to ask more questions on airsoft. I was planning to make a homemade LPEG, i would go hire but, to expensive, but i don't want to be stuck with using a straight magazine clip to feed my ammo which only hasl ike 20 rounds in it,
Could someone please tell me how a High-capacity magazine works for airsoft, because I want more rounds in my gun. I'm trying to keep this project under 40 dollars... which is about the cost of a entry level AEG. I would buy one but I live in Aussie land
.
Was going to get my materials from a hobby store and putting it in a toy gun for the looks.

the way mine works is that it has a 25 "clip"area and aboput another 300 in a storage area and you use the first 25 then scroll the bottom and it loads 25 more

Well, to be quite honest, i have investigated throughoughly in the mechanics of a hicap, and its probobably better to just buy a hicap magazine for airsoft and modify it for your uses.
if you want, i can find an animation or something, but the ability to construct one of these out of household parts is little to none..........
OH dang XS

Yes please, could you show me the internals of a Hi-Cap airsoft magazine + i live in australia it's not possible for me to import any sort of magazine XS...
The answer to adjevi92...
i'm going to use a plunger + piston chamber with teeth on the plunger part. and i've thought of ways for bb to not fall out...
the mats i'm probs going to get is
$10 - 12V gear box (from RC stores)
$5 - 7cm length 1.5cm diametre spring
$6 - Toy MP5 Navy (not to scale)
$1 - O- Rings
$3 - Piston chamber
$5 - aluminium tube
$1 - Pen spring (for spring magazine)
$2 - (some sort of 6mm tube that can be bendy)
$10 - aluminium gears
$2 - Battery holder
Total - $43'ish lol couldn't be bothered counting properly
Those are the materials i need at the moment, although i'm going to working one ant's air gun first... but if i can get the LPEG working... best weapon ever for skirmishing with friends...
