Plumbers Tape and O Rings

Hey again, alright I'm up to the part of attaching the blow gun onto my air tank for my vortex BBMG, but i got one problem... attaching the elbow to the blow gun isn't a easy task as i thought it would be...
What i was planning to do is to get a smaller tube thats small enough to fit the blow gun and elbow tube's hole and epoxy it to gether, but I don't have any O ring's that will perfectly fit both internal tubes, so yeah i was wondering if plumber's tape will help seal off any air leaks... this is the progress of my guns so far...
you can see a tube connected to the blow gun... it's not glued in just to give you guys an idea what i was doing.. i've pumped it to 10psi and squeeze the blow gun trigger and yes it releases air finely, i charge it up to 15 and obviously the tube couldn't hold on and the tube blew off

get a new cap and install a pop in shrader valve.
Remove the core of the valve and install an elbow onto the shrader(which is 1/8" NPT threads)

I'll probably think about doing that after I make another duplicate of the gun, but I just wanted to know if plumber's tape can act like an O-Ring.
The gun I'm making now is only a prototype but I'm going to try to make it as flash as I can.
And wouldn't do that reduce the air flow from air tank to blowgun?

It will probably work if you make sure it is wrapped TIGHT. And I do mean tight.

Reduce flow...blowgun...blowgun chokes flow already

If you are meaning PTFE (teflon) tape, this does not seal, it just lubricates.

Err so what kind of tape should I use to seal my tube up because I got this far, and I kinda not want to change what i've got because I got a week left of holidays so I just want to keep it simple, sure making a vortex will be troublesome, but i just need somethign to connect up to my blow gun, and this is the idea i thought up on the spot with the materials I have on hand.
Anyway what kind of tape should I use then?

Well the tape will defiantly NOT work. I don't know how you could make an Oring help you either. If you insist on using a Soda Bottle (you should make a proper tank) then you should really go with Frank said. Its the only way to get a good seal with you;re current configuration.

The way you have it right now will leak. blowguns only seal correctly if the 1/4 inch side is connected to your air source. That is the way a blowguns poppet(?) valve is made.
