I saw this paintball marker the tiberius 8 (and9). It has a magazine with 8 paintballs (0.68) and a c02 capsul. The marker doesnt need to be recocked of anything. The magazine has to be inserted and you can fire. As I havent seen any posts on this marker I thought I would. I dont really get the concept of the valving. I think this system could be a solution to our semiauto creations, bc it has a mechanical trigger and no fancy solenoids...(yeah k it does have a built in regulator..)

I think it might be interesting to explore this guns working on this forum>

Here are some links to the marker:

The valve looks like it's Nelson based, which is very similar to a lot of your designs.

I don't have much time but it looks like some sort of blow back mechanism powering it. Hubb it does look some what similar to ants designs too. I know solar mounted this on his eclipse maybe he could give us some more info.

wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong it is a blow forward design based off of an automag

but it does have possibilities for semi auto use

I looked again and it is Automag based.

This is how it works.

Yeah I thought of that as well. As its blowforward... but the gas valve that lets in the air into the chamber'' is designed a bit different. >Rather horizontal instead of vertical like a automag. I was wondering if the tiberius design is easier in construction and sealing..

Yep, it is basically just like the one hubb posted but the air flow to the chamber is shut off by the movement of the bolt rather than the movement of the trigger.

BTW Google Patent Search is my site of choice for viewing patents. Very fast, clean and easy to use.

Yeah I think the tiberius design is a bit easier to make as everything is inline. But yeah as I dont have machining skills I dont think I would get anywhere.
Yeah that google patent search site is really good. Its much more overviewable lol. Thnx clide
