Ive always loved these guns and a few weekends ago O Brother Where Art Thou? was on so i decide to start on a completely homemade airsoft vortex Chicago style Thompson sub machine gun
specs:
1 inch chamber running along the total length of the square tubing
steel vortex block
brass 6mm barrel
the grips and but stock is made of oak a piece of brake line was bent up to travel from the blowgun (routed into the grip) to the vortex block
the whole thing took around a week to make and being my first vortex gun it turned out pretty well
ill try to get a vid up soon of me killing some cans

Ok, this is going to get people's attention - things like this always do, just because they look awesome.
Good job.

Great job. What was the receiver and drum made of?
Does it have a spring to push the bbs? Looks like the real thing.

the drum is mad out of 2 plywood circles with a heavy coat of primer and the receiver is the square tubing

Nicely done
'course you could have saved yourself a lot of work by buying a cheap airsoft tommygun and sticking the BBMG inside, but props for making it from scratch anjd achieving such a pleasing aesthetic effect - now let's see it in action

It looks awesome, but your barrel is on a angle with the grip which looks a little weird.

Sorry to post again, but I don't believe my first post did this gun justice...
OH SHI-
Now that that is aside, I'd like to congratulate you on your excellent artwork. I've always had design floating through my head for a 'Denali' marble rifle, which would probably have wound up taking as much work to build as this cannon, and I was always too lazy to build it. I can't wait to see what you do next, because you obviously aren't lazy.

Beautiful work Card! That's almost too realistic looking. Might not hurt to have a removeable red tip you can slide on that if you have it out in public.

looks really good, Its nice to see people making their bbmgs look like real guns.. I went on the BBMG/Strafer Showcase section and I seen this right above my P90 BBMG and I have to say the showcase section is really getting better.

Ooh, rebellious forums, we'll have to put a stop to that.
Adv. Defiantly - in a rebellious manner.
