Need Help Designing Hopper and Magazine

I'm planning on building a magazine fed bbmg, based off
this design by Davidvaini. I'm trying to decide between two magazine and two hopper designs.
Here are the hoppers. The first one is little more curved than the second one. Do you think that the curve will help the feeding? If not, I can simplify it and use the second design.
These are the magazines. I want to build my own magazine instead of buying one. Do you know if the magazine has to funnel at the top for the bbs to load properly, or will it work the same if it's just flat?
Thanks.

The curve can surely help the feeding, but make sure it does not block the flow.
Keep in mind that this way, all bbs may get pushed out just because of the spring pushing them through the barrel.
Im not sure about the mag, jamming is really the biggest issue I'd worry about. I bet that the funnel will surely help.

i think the vortex cap is the best "mag" system i've seen so far.

Thanks, I think I'll go with the second hopper to prevent over feeding.

Vortex caps are nice because they don't jam, but they use a lot more air than I prefer. I also want to test out Davidvaini's design for myself. If I have extra materials, I'll build a vortex cap too.

Both the vortex cap and direct feed magazine designs are mine.
Both of my designs have their advantages/disadvantages.
So if you have any questions just let me know..
As far as the curved.. it will only work if you have a hopup obviously because the bucking will prevent the BBS from simply coming out.

Okay thanks. Can you post a video or describe how fast the direct feed magazine shoots? And what do you consider their advantages and disadvantages?

Is the tube leading up to the barrel deliberately greater than the BB diameter? If so the air will probably flow into the mag and agitate the BBs, thereby acting like a cloud BBMG.

Well in a normal airsoft magazine its pretty close and only a little bit would leak.. If anything it would create a venturi effect anyways.. even though its not need since there is a spring feeding the bbs.

Second hopper, and maybe instead of PVS whihc the design looks like, use a piece of rubber externally adjusted, ie. hopup. And a BB is sure to move over the rubber rather than try and squeeze through PVC tabs.
Second hopper, first magazine is my suggestion.

No its just a crappy diagram.

The tabs will be a piece of rubber. I don't know why I just didn't draw a hop up, I must have been tired that day.
Thanks
EDIT: I made a quick model of the tee shaped hopper and a funneled magazine in Sketchup. An o-ring hop up would go in a slit in between the two red cylinders near the front.

thats cool.
I should have this built sometime soon. I want to be done by Thanksgiving. Right now I'm trying to decide what materials I should use.
On a side note, can anyone recommend a good non-relieving regulator? I might also build a PVC air tank to go along with bbmg.
