In the very near future (I plan on getting parts later today), I will be building a simple vortex cap bbmg.

The only thing that I am unsure of is whether the vortex cap should be a 1" pvc endcap, or a 3/4" endcap. I have a picture of the design I was thinking of, but whenever I try to upload them, it says "file too big". Thank you Fishboy for helping me to this point (we are sort of building it together), and thank you to anyone who can answer my question. I will get parts as soon as anyone can tell me, so the sooner, the better.

Open your picture in MSPaint and use the Resize/Skew under the Image tab in the menu tool bar and go 50% 50% then save to desk top then upload it. Works for me.

You could also upload to Photobucket and thier uploader resizes automaticly, then direct link it to your post using the URL tags.

ok, will do. But should the endcap for the vortex cap be 3/4" or 1"?

here are the links (if the pics/ drawings aren't clear, i will go back and do them on the computer):

Why? I know you have experience with vortex guns and am just curious what affect the vortex diameter has on the guns performance.

Yeah, I have experience and the Vortex Cap design is mine... lol

Reason being is that 1" cap is actually larger than 1" inside.. In fact its too large to get adequate flow. (The bbs jam.)

3/4" is recommended.
