Did you noticed the Wiki?

http://www.spudfiles.com/spud_wiki/inde ... achine_Gun

Lots of info there^^ You also gonna need an airsoft barrel, because obviously it has a to large diameter for regular airsoft BBs

O and btw how did you get that gun? :P

I got it from a good friend for $800.00 with a dummy reciever. I am trying to sell it...but if I cant, I plan on making it into a airsoft weapon. The barrel is a dummy btw if anyone was wondering.

You could use my magazine fed prototype.. It uses standard airsoft magazines and the standard airsoft hopup units. This would make sure that you have it look like the real deal.

Or you could do my vortex cap design as well...

If you have any further questions feel free to PM me.

That looks sweet. :D But I wouldn't buy it for 800 dollars. In my signature I made a gun based on davids link above.
You would need a hop up unit and a barrel. Those are just examples of what you could use. I got my hop up off an old utg shotgun.

Does anyone have or know of a design for one that can be made out of items that can be found locally? I do not have access to internet purchasing (CC problems). Thanks for the help. And for those interested Ill sell the MG as is for $500 obo. lol

im inner redneck is wonder WHY you would shred a real gun to make an airsoft one. especially an $800 one. wish i had that kinda cash. in any even, it would be tough to take apart a real gun and make an airsoft one, because of all the internals, not to mention that it is gonna be hard to cut through without some serious tools. and if you HAD tools that serious, it would be much easier (and cheaper) to thermoform one (make a plastic mold) and put some PVC in it, then spraypaint the outside. when done correctly, the thermoform looks alot like the real gun.

Its not able to fire, its been chopped up and rewelded by the previous owner. It looks great externally, but the whole reciever is 1/4 in thicker so original internals cannot be placed inside. When I bought it, it was $800.00 due to declining economic conditions, I cut it to half priced.

ahhhhh ok. still though, that would be really hard to cut through to put bbmg stuff in there. then again, it would be pretty sweet if you got it to work

Given the original's high rate of fire, it would look good as a cloud BBMG :D

Does it have the original barrel in 7.92mm? If so, you can go to a hobby shop and buy 6mm brass or aluminium tubing that will fit well inside the barrel as it usually has an external diameter of around 7mm.

The next step is to clear out the action and find a tube that fits as your BB resevoir, then it's a matter of cutting down a blowgun to fit inside the pistol grip and attaching the whole thing to a compressor.

I'll draw you a diagram when I get home.

The only problem is the barrel could have been filled in?

Do you have any airsoft shops around where you live? They don't have to be special Dick's,Walmart and other like stores. Before you by it make sure it has an adjustable hop up. If you clicked on my bbmg the piece you would be looking for is essentially a 6mm tee with a rubber bucking that hits the bb on it's way out.

actually now that I think about it there's a look alike shotgun at Dicks that should give you the needed materials for about 30 dollars.

In all good honesty, I wouldn't wreck that! I'd try to renew it to firing state..

JSR will probably send you on the correct path, but I'd really suggest that you take it into somewhere that does vacuum moulding and get a few copies of it..

Good luck, will be a nice build.

It's fairly wrecked already, and besides I'm sure it's possible to mod it for airsoft without altering any of the original parts.
