What O.D. airsoft barrel and what I.D. Pvc pipe.. Probably just make your own jigs with ply and fill with epoxy.

wrap the barrel tightly with duck tape until it has the ID of the pvc pipe. do it to both ends of the barrel.Leave about 3inches from the end of the barrel so that you can put the barrel down the pipe and then pour epoxy into the hole. repeat the step on both sides. If the duck tape is tight eanoth then there shoudl be no leak. Also the barrel will be perfectly centered.
P.S. For lower pressures you can replace the epoxy with hot glue. In theory you could replace it even at higher pressures as the air will go into the barrel and not press onto the epoxy or hot glue so much but better safe than sorry.

For most airsoft barrels, 1/4in pvc fits PERFECTLY. then just add a little bit of glue so it can fall out.

or just go to the hardware store and find little rubber rings that, once strectched over the outside of the airsoft barrel, have an OD just slightly bigger than the pvc and slide it in with hairspray, the hairspray will dry, and the barrel will be set perfectly. It's kind of like sleeving bicycle grips onto handlebars.

Actually, 6mm=1/4".
However, I've never heard of 1/4" PVC being available anywhere except for specialty plastics suppliers.
@john: there shouldn't be any problems with barrel expansion, as the end isn't plugged, and the air will take the path of least resistance. The only time the barrel could explode is if a projectile got stuck in there, and the pressure accumulated to more than the bursting pressure of the barrel (VERY difficult to do).

Actually, 6mm = 0.236 inches..
1/4" is actually 6.35mm which is a big difference when you are talking sizes this small. (a little over 1/3 of a mm)
so 1/4" is actually 5.8% larger.

yeah so 1/4" has way too much blow-by to be effective as a barrel.
A regular airsoft barrel is 6.08-6.14mm, while a tightbore airsoft barrel is 6.01-6.05mm.
1/4" has 5.8% blowby which is simply not effective.

It was a pretty cheap gun, but i do know that is was the inner barrel, and at the home depot near me they sell pvc in 1/4in.
EDIT: Sorry it was 1/8in. pvc
