Sadly I have no footage of the event (and let's face it, if I did it would just have sounded like a massive Laz0r!). The breech was attached to my
pressure washer/paintball tank setup and thankfully I was pointing it well away from me, the shrapnel mostly spread out in a arc ahead of me, except for the stainless steel chamber which judging by the dent in the ceiling shot straight up, but I still can't find it :-/
you need to encase it in a piece of metal pipe and fill it up completely..
That was my mistake, the epoxy is strong enough (looks at all my other HPA projects that
didn't blow up

) but it needs to be supported, in this case I had an unsupported area that was literally pulled apart by the pressure. This is why it took me so long to invest in a paintball tank, I
knew I'd do something stupid sooner or later
In a nutshell, remember kids, if you're using unrated construction at silly pressures, you're doing so at your own risk.
