I started making the body for my inline vortex project finally and wanted to share with you guys. I spent allot of time modeling it up and cnc machined the body. I will probably be making a few of these guys as it seems pretty popular.
The design is 70% of the real guns size, here is my model:
And the gun itself:
More to come tomorrow, I will show pictures of the vortex block etc.

Touché, never played with those bb's myself, and i've never actually even seen a gun that shoots those type of bb's. I kind of doubt he uses them, but i guess its still an option

I think this is the key:
electrically powered 2,000-round external box magazine shuffles 8mm BBs
It's not
this but it's not purely air driven. Why not e-mail them about the wonders of DCVs

lol I realise it was a joke but it is possible that they used a solenoid valve + a simple PLC timer... just like what I used to turn semi auto MKII into a full auto gun
electrically powered 2,000-round external box magazine
that probably means that there is an electric motor to 'wind up' the mag.. similar to what is used on some airsoft guns

Looks like an inline ram type of vortex block design; the central faux barrel and shroud is pvc. The rest looks to be metal.
Very nice setup - wish I had real machine tools at my disposal...hence my ammo can use as the main body of the gun
A solenoid valve with a circuit will still fire a vortex block and give it that cycle sound, it's just that several BBs fire on each cycle - I've done it. Adds to the realism and helps to tame the rapid disposal of BBs to a more realistic conservative figure.
I like it - looks great!
