my first vortex block

looks about right, though it seems a tad wide. Still, as long as BBs can move by the sides of the block into the hole you should be fine.

i cant see in the pic very well but if your barrel is like the pic it should work there isn't much to go bad it pretty simple

thanks for the replys next question how long will it last seeing how imma be using .177 steel bbs

It will get smooth with use but I seriously doubt it will wear out significantly for the length of the launcher's useful life.

good to know lol well as soon as i get a few more parts this gun will be done and ill make a video showing it hopefuly it has good performance

If you have decent pressure (100 psi good, 200 psi better etc.), good flow (blowgun good, 1/8" ball valve better, 1/4" ball valve even better etc.), BB chamber that is not too big (500 BB capacity good, 1000 BB capacity worse etc.) and a long enough barrel (2 feet good, 3 feet better etc.) you should be sorted. Barrel tightness is very important, unless you want to end up like this guy :roll: <--- plenty of good advice about optimising performance in this thread, have a look ;)
