Looks like he uses a coiled tube that holds the ammo. Air goes in on one side, ammo gets pushed out on the other side.
Not a cloud/vortex. Its blowing through a tube filled with ammo.

If you look at jimmy's calculations, a 2,000 rpm BBMG is actually quite typical.

20,000 rpm... well, feeding though a tube is different to the random nature of cloud/vortex feeding, and if he counted the BBs and dumped the mag in a measured time, well results are results.

I like the coiled magazine idea, I had thought of something similar here but without a continuous tube I couldn't get it to feed reliably. With a detent rate of fire could be reduced and power increased.

I dont see the use of it. If you want to shoot 600 rounds in the blinks of an eye, why not use a buckshot?

Nicely made but small fiddly mag + excessive RPM + full auto only = :?

A pneumatic shotgun would give a better result, faster "rpm" and be easier to reload.

Because you can't spell your name with buckshot ;)

...unless your name is

. . . .
.. . . .. .. .

. .. . . .... .

Jack, I don't QSL. Do you know CW? Because I can't read you.

Anyway, if it does what you want, then that's all want from it.

(If you understand this, I've got one too. Also, CQ to anyone else
reads this)

73's Zeus, I have an XYL, so I never bothered to get a license. I did quite a bit of SWL and chicken band for a while. Most of my side of the family are licensed. Mom and dad are general, my brother is no code tech along with several of his kids. I do spend time at field days.

I did work on transmitters. I used to do broadcast, both television and AM/FM radio.

If you get in touch with ZF1DJ, tell him hi for me. I've been on a couple field days with him.

A field day under palm trees on the beach makes a great field day.

I'm a VK and it's a full call here. I won't post it (you can look up calls)
but if someone's an SWL or holds a call, I'll PM if they're interested.

I'm on 2M FM only, so DX is 200Km.

Good to see some amateurs here.

May the ionosphere always cater to your needs
