This is my first bbmg. I made it out of spare parts. I know the soda bottle isn't the best chamber but I am not taking it over 60 psi. I will probably make it run off of a blowgun soon it is currently using a 1/2in ball valve with 1/4in od tubing to restrict flow. At 60 Psi I get 3 seconds of full power fire.
the barrel is a pen tube and the bbs go in a small pill bottle. I am planning on getting a better barrel soon and will probably replace the camber with a larger pvc tank and regulator. The range is around 100 feet and it won't puncture a can but it will at least dent it. It has a very high rate of fire when there are alot of bbs in the chamber.

haha nice build, you shoulda used a blow gun tho, or perhaps consider it for your next build

LOL nice, its the official Ghetto BBMG haha but it is awsome, I bet its a lot of fun! You can definitely up the pressure in the bottle, maybe to say, 100 psi. But it you want some serious performance, go with a vortex bbmg.

I am planning on using a vortex cap but I dont want to waste too much ammo. I will hook up a blowgun later and will try to get to higher pressure with the bottle soon. it won't take long to hook up the blowgun what it the flow rate of a blow gun anyway is it better than the valve I am using or worse?

just tested it at 80 which is all my pump will take with alot of effort and it is awesome!!! atleast 100 bbs shot with the one fill.

it goes right through at least 1 sheet of thick, coated, with hard paint or something and my friends 300fps pistol goes through one and dents the other side so I am guessing that it is shooting 330 ish because I had 2 sheets back to back and the bbs got embedded.

lets see, if you are going to replace the chamber, barrel, and the valve....
why not just build another gun?

I have the blowgun and probably can't get a new barrel soon I will just build a larger tank and honestly I don't trust the bottle. but thanks for the advise.

lol I agree with the other guy, just build a new one. I was gonna say that before but I spared you the comment lol.

I know I should just build a new one I will see if I have the parts and another pen tube.

If your gonna build a new one I would go with a vortex cap, it just as easy and has a higher ROF and slightly better power.

I am just building a cloud with a blowgun for now instead or a cheap ball valve, because I have the parts but that is probably going to be my next project.


I just built a gun with a smaller hopper thing and a blowgun with the same tank and it is dissapointing that I get better range with this gun than it.
