what would be a good chamber size for a 6mm airsoft gun powered by a 1/4" QEV. the barrel is about 60cm long. the chamber will be made of 3/4" pvc, but it will have some fittings. i'm guessing that a 5 inch chamber would be good. would it be to big or small? thanks (sry for all the questions ive been posting recently)

What pressure? Higher the pressure, smaller the chamber required, remember.

oh ya, sry. pressure should be 100-125 psi (pretty low, but its all my compressor goes up to)

You'll find out you'll get better performance with smaller chamber and higher pressure, but at that pressure I'd say like a few inches. Maybe like 3 inches then an endcap.

Depends what you're after, if power is the most important factor go ahead and make your chamber as long as the barrel, but if you want air economy and a quieter shot 5 inches of 3/4" pipe should suffice for decent plinking power.

thanks, ill probably go with a 5-6 inch chamber. also, do you know approximately how fast (fps) a .2 gram 6mm airsoft bb will go?

Do you have GGDT? If you do, you didn't need to ask this in the first place.
